Hi ..I recently purchased an HC533 for my A500 which I'm very pleased with ..but in order to fit it I had to remove my kickstart switcher pcb.
I guess the answer to having both pcbs in my A500 is a cpu relocator ..which would effectively move the cpu socket towards the back leaving the rom socket exposed.
Can anyone point me at a suitable relocator pcb ?
or sell me one ?
rgds and stay safe..

I have one of these https://sordan.ie/product/708/amiga-500-68000-angle-dip-cpu-relocator-adapter-tf530-wicher508i/ and it seems to work pretty well. I may have a spare in the near future, but if you are in a rush, Sordan seems to ship quickly (almost instantly for my last order) and arrived in a few days.
That does look like it would work ..assuming the orientation image in my head is correct.
attached is a photo of the HC533 in situe ..and as you can see it has a CF hard drive attached.

@ Austinsom ..
I could just order from Sordan ..but in light of the current crisis ..all postage from outside the UK is slower ..as expected.
If you are selling one then I'd be interested as it likely would arrive quicker.
So if you are selling I would be interested.

Sorry for not replying earlier - that one should work looking at the pictures, although you may need an ide cable to stop the CF adapter hitting the back of the case.

I have a Wicher 508i in my A500 and fold the IDE cable so the CF card rests on the Wicher, making sure not to short anything!

I'm not sure yet about my relocater, as it depends if I end up getting a TF534, as most of those seem to include one, but that may be a few weeks off, so probably best to have ordered from Sordan :)

Interested in how you get on.

I've got a HC533 in my A500+ and looking to get a ROM switcher. Two options I thought was either a rom switcher on a ribbon cable or raise the HC533 using a set of machine header pins. There isn't a lot of clearance to the keyboard however so that L bracket looks interesting.
