The model you want is probably a Chinon FB-354. In my experience, you can use any variation of this drive (So, the A2000 or A3000 versions) you just have to remove the LED and use the eject button from your dead A500 drive.

You can check this EAB thread where people convert pc drives to Amiga standard.

Hope it helps if you don't mind to tinker a bit.

Also, newer drives usually are a lot silent than those old Chinon FB35x drives.
