This is a last ditch effort to repair my A500 rev 6 board before it gets butchered for spares.
I recently bought a new video hybrid from kipper2k in Canada. I narrowed it down to being this as replaced the caps, two ics near it and my Denise chip and still had no blue on screen. Today after a month of waiting I installed the new video hybrid and powered on. I got a fat nothing, just a grey screen. Composite out gives just a white screen. Then I noticed scorch marks next to the Fat Angus. So question is do I spend yet more money on this or just buy a new motherboard?
