A590 refurbish

Hi,

I'm trying to get an old A590 working. It's a Rev.7 board with 4.6 ROM's. I'm trying to get hold of a new DMAC, a new 390398-01 revision 08 IC and especially some v.7 ROM's. Does anyone have any tips for where I could buy these? Are those 390398 IC's from China flooding eBay the real deal or should I avoid? I suppose I can't get a ZuluSCSI working without the v.7 ROM's so that's my first priority. Any help appreciated!

I'm pretty sure @tbtorro was selling some DMAC for these... You may want to check his threads?

You can also try Vesalia Online, bought a DMAC from them about 6 months ago, they may still have them in stock.

How much of a difference does it make with the newer DMAC besides reduced heat? Do you have any links that lists changelogs or similar?

By the way, I got hold of v.7 roms and a newer SCSI controller (AMD version) from these forums, so that part is sorted.
