Up for grabs is this Amiga 600, slightly yellowed but mostly clean, it has some marker writing on it that I was unable to erase completely (faint but noticeable) and the F5 key is missing.

The main problem this machine has is the keyboard membrane, someone pinched the ribbon with the hard drive cradle and it's flimsy. I managed to get it to work but some times it just stops working, you need to fiddle with it. If I was you I would change it. It's great for most games and Tinylauncher though! But I can't be bothered to keep it around for that and I have no more patience with it after spending one day trying to fix the membrane 100%.

The machine comes with no power supply. The disk drive is working fine, although it is noisy (TEAC model) I don't know why. The RF modulator is no more but I have it around if you happen to want it.

I would like to get 20 pounds plus shipping for the machine. No trades. Prefer to ship within the UK.

I tested it a lot, audio and video were running fine. Motherboard is revision 1.5 so no bugs on composite.
I also tested it with a PCMCIA device (multicard reader), worked perfectly. Didn't test the IDE though. Joystick ports were fine. Trapdoor works (tested with RAM expansion).

Can try and do more tests if you like.

no mate thats fine, its only really useful on the rgb port and composite anyway.
i would expect the ide works anyway.

Yeah I had it on for some hours on RGB to my LCD TV, no problems.
Didn't test WHDLoad as it doesn't have any extra RAM.

Hi there.

Interested enough to it, as long as you' re willing to ship within EU etc.

But please, can you check its IDE functionality?
Just load the WB (or whatever you want) using a CF-IDE setup (no need for extra ram. 1MB chip will do). :)

My point is that I'm after an A600 because my little miggy has one IDE pin ...cut... so, no more HDD loading for me... :picard
(also can't cope with soldering a new one in it ...)

You have also a PM regarding question, too. :)

Well the problem right now is that I no longer have an Amiga power supply to test it further as I got rid of it. All my machines have internal picoPSU mods.

The IDE has no broken pins at all so it should work just fine.
I'll check shipping prices and write you a message!

OK I don't know what the **** happened, I replied to ndial but the message doesn't show up in my Sent box. So I'll reply here.

ndial is first in line. Shipping for him to Greece on globalValue is £28.95 + VAT
4play: shipping to Norway on globalValue would be £39.78+VAT

A600 received, and all is good, feedback left

Mods please now close this thread:thumbsup:
