This Amiga was a costly journey. As always it started with stock A600....to cut story short, there is nothing left from my original a600 :picard
But I'm extremely pleased with final result, so it was worth it. :thumbsup:

PS: It was absolutely fantastic to meet some of you in person yesterday. I hope next time me and paradroid90 get the chance to showcase Commodore 128 more.
 
Certainly will Lukas :thumbsup: I should of brought her down.....Opened her up today and found that the Din Character Rom had become loose in transit and she now works like a dream :thumbsup:

Black switch is for making external drive DF0, I still use floppies and play original games but needed space for CD and HxC so internal floppy has to go.

Quick specs:
ACA630
A604
Indivision ECS
4xEIDE'99 interface
TAEC slim DVD
HxC floppy emulator
Kickstart 1.3/3.1 with a switch
Switch in 1.3 also disables accelerator
DF0/DF1 switch
CF card Hard Drive

Waiting for new Prism megamix soundcard and that should be it.
 
Wow! Impressive. It's amazing that it can be fitted into this small and sweet Amiga :)

Nice to see Amikit on A600... Really beautiful. Are you using the 256 colours hack of the Indivision ECS ? And did you make your own special config or just used Retrofan's release straight forwardly ? If you're happy to share on a dropbox it'll be sweet. :D
 
That's 16 colours in SuperPlus 800x600 screen mode. I don't think 256 colours are usable on a600. 16 colours needs a lot of power.
It's simple to install. Use winuae with Aga settings to install. Disable loading screen in S-S, change resolution to super plus 16 colours, in WB startup disable clock. Rename system partition to Amikit and reboot with ECS selected as chipset. Should work. Than disable things you don't need and use ACATune to speed up system little bit. You need to install on PFS and have ACA630 and flashed Indivision ECS.
