Is the connection made only through these 5 links as shown in the picture?

Yes, 2.7V is fine, it should be correct for all AA5 cards (I explained why some posts ago), regardless if they are marked as 2.7V or 2.9V.
And yes, only 5 links are required, you need to use 5x M3 screws, 4-5mm length should be OK. There are some photos in the first post in this thread showing how the PSU is installed on the AA5 card.
If the 5x pads on the AA5 card are dirty/oxidized (they usually are), be sure to clean them on both sides before installing the PSU.
Don't forget to add some cooling, both the AA5 and the PSU need it.

Sorry, they're all gone. This was a limited run and I don't plan to make more, as it's quite time consuming.
