Hi all,

Been working on my rescued-from-obscurity Amiga 500, and I'd really like to get it set up with one of the ACA-500 upgrade boards from Individual Computers. The various reseller sites are all currently sold out and I'm not seeing any conclusive evidence of a restocking anytime soon, so please let me know if you have one you could part with and your asking price!

Thanks,

Huxley

PS I've got a pretty good stash of Amiga hardware and stuff, so if you're open to a trade for a C128 or something, please let me know :-)

Is it an NTSC A500? If so I don't think they work with the ACA500

Definitely is a US model, but my understanding is that this upgrade works with most of them. Am I way off base here?

Yes I'm pretty sure there are compatibility issues between the ACA500 and ntsc A500. A new version is being produced, perhaps this will work.

Hello,

I have a Rev. 5 NTSC motherboard and yes it will not work with the ACA500 unless you add the ACA1233 onto it with the ACA500. Then for some reason it bypasses the issue and functions 100% as long as you have the ACA1233 attached to it. Once you remove the ACA1233 then the ACA500 does not work.

Just thought I would share that.

Cheers.

Thanks for that info on the 1233. I would never of thought of that. I have a rev 6 mb and they work find with or without the 1233.
