ACA1232 Accelerator Question

Hi, I purchased the ACA 1232 Full 030 @ 25Mhz as everything else was sold out. Now AK are expecting new stock mid-month @ 40Mhz, worth upgrading? Is 15Mhz faster worth it?

Also, why 40Mhz and not a nice, round 50Mhz?

ACA 1232's can be overclocked with a simple mod, have a search on these boards

You might need to change the 030 chip though as the 25mhz chips might not go to 40mhz (or you might need active cooling)

40mhz is due to a lack of 50mhz chips, the ACA1230 had a nice 56mhz version (50mhz chip overclocked) that's a nice card if you can find one!
