Sold Acorn BBC Master 128k

BBC Master 128k, No school markings, Small spot of yellow as in photo on the top, I have the black card inlay just not to hand.

A NEW battery pack and wires to the board have been fitted and the config has been set and tested.

There's no battery damage too the pcb.

The PSU has been serviced and the following replaced by the Acorn Guru himself "TheCorfiot"
1....Replacement of X1 & X2 Capacitor to modern standard safety types.
2....Replacement of Startup Electrolytic Capacitor.
3....Voltage output checks & ripple tests, if needed voltage tweaked back into spec.

A 3.5" floppy disk drive has been setup with power and data cables from the BBC "No External PSU required", works a treat, its not in a case but has no external connections or moving parts, I was intending to mod the BBC to fit the drive internally but never got around to doing this.

A scart lead is also supplied such a nice clear picture.

Also a BBC Joystick Interface is supplied so you can use the standard atari/amiga joystick with the BBC.

Included is a resource CD with ALL software & electronic manuals you would need and file transfer software to write your own 3.5" floppy discs on your PC...

I suggest you set CMOS to "DFS" system for the single sided games, then use "*ADFS" to get double side support.

I will try find the commands to reset CMOS unless TheCorfiot steps in and shows you how after refitting the batterys "Bad Language"

First carry out a factory reset which in the case of the Master 128 is switching on with the R key held down (unlike the RISC OS 'DELETE'), the screen will look like:

Now do a CTRL/BREAK
If you find that the floppy drive hunts (other than when accessing track 0) then try alternative CO. FDRIVE 3 as some drives prefer this (very rarely now a 1 or 2 will work).
If you wish to UNPLUG or INSERT ROMS (all those listed above are in the one MegaRom) then enter *UNPLUG x or *INSERT x where x is the decimal equivalent of the hex number of the ROM displayed in the list after *ROMS.
The DFS at ROM 9 is in the MegaRom and was bugged. Many masters had an updated DFS inserted into one of the spare ROM sockets at ROM 8.
In this case issue a *UNPLUG 9 and *CO. File 8 followed by a CTRL/Break.
The Delay and Repeat (for key reading), Mode and Loud/Quite (beep) settings are a matter of taste.
