Hi all,

After clearing out my retro goodness, I am now left with a void. I did come by a mini itx pc a little while back that I planned to use as my entertainment/emulation centre. A few hdmi problems and the fact my mother needed a new pc, meant I ended up passing the machine her way.

Now, I face myself with a dilemma. I'd like something V cheap that I can connect to the TV. It has to be small enough to fit under the TV.

Im looking for it to run just some classic emulation. My feelings are that maybe an xbox might be the best candidate? If so what do I need to look for in procuring one etc.

Thanks in advance!

the old xbox is an excellent emulator machine.

i made one a year or two ago and had most 8 bit (atari, speccy, c64) and the amiga winuae on it too.

you dont even need to add a bigger hard drive if your just using it for emulation.

The only issue is the use of on screen keyboards rather than a real one. How about a cheap PC ? i know that tower systems are awful but Dell make small form factor PC's with xp

:-)
