Picking up a A1000 and would like to switch her to PAL. Let me know if you have Agnus 8367 available. Thanks!

OT: You can change an NTSC A1000 to a PAL A1000??! How? Is it just a case of swapping the Agnus?

That's what I have read, will find out soon. For full compatibility an oscillator should be changed as well, but I read it only matters when using genlocks and such.

Please do post a new thread of how you get on, I have an NTSC A1000 motherboard that I was going to sell but I may keep it if I can make it a PAL board :thumbsup:

You won't get PAL colour output from the RF/composite out but the rest is doable via swapping the Agnus and oscillator and securing a 50 hz tick signal (which you actually get for free as it's plugged in a 50 Hz power outlet), I'm pretty sure we've discussed this some time ago.
In essence, you don't get a PAL A1000 but rather a "PAL-timed" one, but if you only use the RGB port that's all you need. There's no PAL or NTSC there.
