Hello from Prague, Czech Republic.
I’m a collector of Monster High dolls and video games, and I also collect old computers on the side. I really love playing video games on the PS5. Retro is more of a secondary hobby for me.

Right now, someone is trying to scam me and my boyfriend. He was selling an Amiga 1200 on a Czech platform, and it’s quite possible that the buyer is trying to scam us—to get the Amiga for free. I found out from the Czech Amiga community on a forum that this user was banned on Amibay and doesn’t have a good reputation. I’m trying to find more information, and if anyone is willing to help, I’d really appreciate it and can share more details. It’s a really unpleasant situation.

Also, I have some other turbo cards (or something like that) at home, but I don’t know much about them. If someone could help me with that, I’d be grateful—unfortunately, I can’t test them.

You need to make at least so many posts. 3 I think before you can use DM (Direct Message).
Then click on one of the moderators names in the left hand area where it shows that person and you should see Direct Message.

Which forum section can I use to ask about prices and get more information about the cards? I want to make sure everything is within the rules and to avoid any misunderstandings.

I’ve read the rules, but I have some trouble with English. I understand basic sentences, but for more complex ones I need to use a translator.

If there’s a problem with a user, can I write about it here? Or would it be better to try to resolve it privately first? At the moment, I’m discussing it with the community on the Czech forum. Hopefully, I’ll be able to send messages soon.

Price discussions are forbidden on the public forum. My advice is to check current and past sale threads. eBay is also a good place to get an idea when deciding on pricing. Also note, you can set a fixed price or consider near offers. Any offer are at your discretion, so there's no obligation to accept. Offers are then made in private after a potential buyer has officially declared interest.

If you have a general problem with a member on the forum reach out to a member of staff. If the problem is with a purchase or sale then it is best to address this directly with the member in private or on the actual thread , if they ignore your messages or you are unable to resolve amicably a staff member will step in.
