Hi All,
The company i work for are running a campaign to raise the awareness of Alan Turing. We are doing this by trying to get people to sign the online petition to put turing's face on the front of the £10 note.
For those of you who don't know who Alan Turing is, he is most noted for cracking the Enigma machines which the germans used to send encrypted messages from German HQ to U-Boats out at sea. His other accomplishments involve the evolution of binary computing and his work in the field of A.I and biology.
The whole foundation of computing was set about by this man, and is the reason you are sat on Amibay to this day.

only problem I see is I don`t think country is ready for a transgender individual on the currency or how the state did what they did to one of our brighness minds ever after using him, almost makes it sound like we are disposable

I didn't know of him by name until I read your excellent biography then realised who he was.

Being a comp science student, I'm learning much about this guy and I think everyone the world over from scientists at CERN, Microsoft and your mum sitting at home on Facebook owe him a lot.

Without the code breakers, we wouldn't have hackers... think about it, the basic premise is the same, it's all about reverse engineering.

An important cog in computing science and cryptography/cryptanalysis, inspiring man. Taken too young, could probably have done more given time.
