Wanting to buy an Alfa Data trackball for the Amiga. Specifically the model in this photo.

After the plain 'grey ball' model as opposed to the 'crystal' one (the one that lights up in an extremely annoying way when moved).

*Must* be in excellent or near new condition. Prefer to pay using PayPal.

My existing one is starting to get pretty tired after some 16+ years of intense use...

Brilliant, I'll reply to your for sale thread and go from there.

Moderators - you can change this to 'Found' thanks.

Hi Tony. Do you want to close this thread as the deal would be in Virge's thread?

Also, I'm pretty interested in the trackball circuit, as I have the annoying crystal ball and it is an ordinary serial pc unit.

Yes, thanks for closing this thread. Have since closed the deal with Virge in the other thread.

What are you after in terms of the trackball circuit? Do you have a 'crystal ball' PC unit that you want to convert to work on the Amiga? In which case it's probably cheapest and easiest to buy one of the off the shelf PC mouse to Amiga mouse adaptors. Not sure if there are any for PC serial mice though. Does Individual Computers have anything?

It's possible to 'convert' them internally, but requires a complete redesign of the circuit inside. I've done them before and it's quite time consuming.
