Hi all,

Just thought I'd introduce myself :) As a long time lurker I figured I'd try to get a little more active in the forum. I grew up with the Amiga (a 500, then later a 2000HD) and it's always been my first love! I am now 32 and an avid collector of retro gaming systems and computers, some images of which you can see here:

As far as Commodore/Amiga goes, I own

- Commodore 64
- Commodore 64C
- Commodore 128
- Commodore 128D
- Amiga 500
- Amiga 600
- Amiga 1200HD40
- Amiga CD32

But I'm also a retro computer fan in general, so I have machines like the Sega SC-3000, Amstrad CPC64 etc.

I also started developing a program to assist with the creation of ISO compilations of Amiga games to run on the CD32 hardware. I haven't updated it in a while, but intend to go back to the drawing board and make the UI a lot easier to use etc. I also maintain a blog where I ramble on about my retro gaming finds, review games and generally rant on about the state of the retro gaming scene etc.

Anyway, look forward to getting to know you all and hopefully expand my Amiga collection a bit.

Very envious of that room, mate! So light and organized. Where's the tv?

That is a fantastic collection you have there and you even have a place to store everything

My place looks like a bomb has dropped, one day I will get round to making it a bit more presentable  although I have been saying that for a long time now

I hope you enjoy your stay at Amibay M8

I use one small CRT not pictured, or my trusty 1084S which you can see in one of the pics :) (or the amstrad monitor for the CPC64 for obvious reasons :P)

Fantastic! .... I saw a pic with a similar setup; consoles on the bookshelf styles, floating around on FB a few months ago (minus the CD32) ... was that your collection mate ? Either way awesome collection and hello from the Capricorn Coast!

Well I'll be darned

I just happen to be holidaying in Melbourne this very moment and I reckon I could hop over to your place in the light of the moon and acquire a good selection of goodies before flying out Sunday night! ;-) LOL

I stopped sharing anything about my collection or my location years ago when I realised you just don't know how close you are to being a self made target :-)

But, welcome aboard

I have about 12 CD32s so I might be interested in your ISO project ;-)

Well, I haven't really shared my location. You'd be hard pressed to locate me among the couple of other people that live in Melbourne :P. 12 CD32's? Wow - care to get rid of any? I'm flying to NZ at the end of Feb for a conference in Auckland :P

Ah yes, I meant to hit the 2 but obviously nicked the 1 just beforehand ;-)

Seriously, I do intend to let some go but when I'll get down stairs to sort through it is another matter altogether, you'll be here and back before I get downstairs :-)
