Good news

Wife has cleared the whole weekend, but I have to get my car fixed in time because:

A) She needs her car that weekend
B) I wont fit all my kit in the 2 seater!

I'll get on and book that accommodation.

For those of you interested in coming to R3play, I have found a cheap clean hotel within walking distance of the event.
It is £25 per person, per night. Including Bed & Breakfast, ensuite single (or double rooms available), free Wifi, and Freeview TV in every room.
It is best to phone them up direct and book as it is cheaper than online. They require a deposit of £10 per person.
There are plenty of rooms still available at the moment.
There is some on street parking outside, but only after 5pm (unless you have a disabled badge). The receptionist said that there is a 24 hour carpark around the corner, which is not overly busy and charges £7 per 24 hours.
For those of you arriving by Train, it is 5 minutes walk from Blackpool North station.
There is a "cosy" Bar and checkout times are 11am.
My favorite kind of Hotel, cheap, and cheerful. :smile:

You are very welcome. We have 2 hot-rodded 1200's going so we only really need something capable of playing WHDLoad, so anything capable of that is absolutely fine.

You are very welcome. We have 2 hot-rodded 1200's going so we only really need something capable of playing WHDLoad, so anything capable of that is absolutely fine.
What have you got?

A1200 in brilliant white! Will have a Blizzard PPC, but I can downgrade this to something for modest if needed. I am happy to set it up with WHDLOAD and a simple game interface though. Also have a 25" LCD that syncs to amiga refresh.

That is very true, I have offered other systems if they need them. However, the original request was to provide the Amiga element, we could then advertise the site whilst there and emphasize the point that we are not exclusively Amiga.

It is tempting to have another PPC Amiga, but we need a nice simple system that can sit all day with people playing SWOS on it if they want.
Something with a RAM expansion or maybe an 030 on it would be favorite.

remember those that are brining systems will need to bring a monitor (LCD/CRT) etc.

Well I've got the go ahead from "the boss" (tm) and my Sisters birthday is the following weekend so YAY! But i'm having trouble ordering the ticket. I need my billing address connected to my Visa to state my Danish address, and delivery to be here in UK, but I can't select "Denmark" in my user account area now that i've already registered as living in UK. If they had stated "this should be the billing address" when I joined up it would have helped. I sent them a mail and will get it sorted.
