We had a right laugh lastnight din't we froggy one? And that "Sticky" night club was something else! It was ace seeing Jeff as well today, i'm glad I got to talk to him after completely missing where he was yesterday. I played his new game on his iPad and his iPhone, I felt quite giddy! Its interesting how he's making use of the touch screen. Nice chap too

Hey lads - this is the first time i've had a chance to update the thread since I got back around 6pm or so (went for dinner with the wife type and number one daughter hehe).

Just wanted so say a big thank you to everyone who cam along and exhibited. You all made me feel very welcome and I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. You are all a good bunch of folks. Pity I didn't get to say cheerio to Nicky Justin, but please pass on my best wishes to her mate.

Can't wait til the next event - woohoo!

Oh, and Les - that made me laugh when you mentioned the "sticky" night club. What a place lol.

And other gaming news - for those I didn't get to tell - I got knocked out in the Semi final of the Sensi comp (which isn't too bad I think). Hey ho - can't win them all

the err "sticky" night club refers to the floor.... at one point I was physically stuck to the floor and stumbled into Imnogeek...

Allthough the club was pretty damn poor - It was a hillarious experience and with the guys there it was nothing short of EPIC WIN!


r0jaws, Jay and I got back a couple hours ago - made some good time - still totally excited - and I am seriously chuffed I got to meet, thank and shake hands with Mr Anthony Crowther (maker of Captive)

So much this weekend has been nothing but EPIC WIN!!!

meeting the guys here - fantastic - meeting the retr0-gamer guys too (yes I am also a retro-gamer) was great too.

I cannot say thanks enough to the event organizers for what is nothing short of a blindling show!

It was great to meet up with old faces and put newer ones to names too

really great to meet up the "Skilzy-G" (aka THE CHAMP), "Phips", Johnim, Whompus (and the family), "bob" (fatbob_gb) , decidal, D.J. (force of nature) Echo

Good Morning everyone.

What a fantastic weekend! All the hard work paid off brilliantly. I have to say it's been one of my favorites so far.
A sincere thank you to all the guys who helped out and provided kit and equipment as well as a big thank you to Gary who provided the T-shirts, a Banner and leaflets, Geoff who provided a HUGE Banner, and also to John for the "Book of Amiga".

We had loads of interest on the tables, and the machines were quite literally glowing red hot with the amount of time they were getting played on.
We were able to help out with advice and just general chat to all sorts of people and my throat is literally raw with all the talking.
We even got interviewed by a nice young lady, and I think it went Ok.

On the way home Keith asked me what my favorite part of the event was, and it had to be meeting all you lot.
The event was great fun, but it's the personalities that made it for me.


Plus I got to buy some cool T-Shirts which is a big win in my book.

Plenty of photos and footage to come, especially of John's legendary win against Mr MacLean!
