The only identifying mark I can find is "A Meager Mega Ram Card" and "Copyright 1987". I can not find it in the usual databases. There are two large chips, one a memory controller and one a RTC chip. Even though there is a 50-pin header (unpopulated) I don't think there is any SCSI interface here.
I am told it does not work, I bought it in the package where I got my A1000 (now I have a Parceiro so don't need it). There is a very slim chance that it does work and the guy just didn't have a clue how to make an external memory card work. There's also the chance that it will destroy your Amiga and will burn your house down, so it's up to you to check before plugging it in. This is better suited to historical research, debugging practice, or even just for display. I chopped off a "RS Mempac 3.6V" battery, it does not appear to have leaked badly but a little PCB mask has come off nearby. No idea the purpose of the wires shown on the back or who put them there!
US$10 - unfortunately the postage is still going to cost $30 or so to international destinations
