I have a working Commodore Amiga 1000 system available. This Amiga has the additional front panel memory expansion, providing a total of 512Kb of RAM. It has a working keyboard, deep cleaned within the last year. The mouse, while a genuine Amiga tank mouse, is not the normal Amiga 1000 mouse with the right angle adapter. Included is a Comspec AX2000 memory expansion which plugs into the right side expansion port which provides 2mb of additional Fast RAM. This will also include a complete set of original Kickstart/Workbench 1.1 and 1.2 disks, non-original Kickbench/Kickstart/Workbench 1.3 disks, the original manual, and the original Amiga Basic manual. These original disks may fail at any time.
If desired, I have an original box *without styrofoam* that can be included. The Amiga 1000 would be wrapped up and shipped within that box, which will then be covered by an additional outer box.
Everything works -- Amiga Test Kit shows that the memory tests great, as well as CIA, video, and sound tests. All keys on the keyboard work well, and both controller ports pass tests. the machine will boot up with various Kickstart disks and versions of Workbench, and loads up games and software well.
The exterior of the case and motherboard has fairly severe yellowing, and was likely in a smokers house. I generally do not "retrobrite" computers, but I could make a case for doing it to this one. The keyboard, mouse, monitor, and exterior of the case have been cleaned pretty thoroughly. The inside of the computer was air dusted, and the floppy drive serviced with a cleaning, relubrication, and head cleaning. There are light marks on the case, keyboard, and mouse that are appropriate for its age, as pictured.
Looking for $580 USD / $800 CAD, plus shipping. I'm fine with PayPal with protection, but would pass the additional 3% on to you. Local pick up also available in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Depending on how you want to roll with the machine, I can add:
A Kickstart adapter with one ROM to this machine for an additional $30 USD. I do not do it by default as it does require some internal changes to support the add on. They are reversable, but they do require some light soldering. This removes the need for a Kickstart floppy, and allows you to boot directly to software like a 500 or 2000. By default, this would be a Kickstart 1.3 ROM, but I can install any appropriately licensed ROM, or just install the adapter for you to provide one.
An Amiga 1010 external floppy disk drive, serviced and cleaned, for an additional $60 USD. This provides a second disk drive for software for convenience or additional authenticity.
Edit: Item shipped.
