Sold Amiga 1200 machine

For sale this working A1200, keyboard perfectly working, motherboard rev 1D4 is in perfect state/working condition, KS 3.0, upper case is yellowed not lower one, floppy drive doesn't read disks anymore (I did not try to clean or repair it), pretty good state apart the yellowing.

Price : 120€+ p&p

We’ve all been there probably… late in the evening, lots of things in life that had to done first (dishes, laundry, kids...) and then 'Yes, finally I have 30min to tinker…' I changed my old KS roms for new ones, put them in wrongly which burned the chips, took them out without paying attention which wrecked a couple of traces on the motherboard and everything went south from there on…


So, I’m happy to get a ‘new’ one!

It sounds like you can't be trusted handling a precious item such as an Amiga.

I've been there... not an Amiga..

was changing an i7 cpu,, dropped a "tiny" amount of thermal paste onto the motherboard cpu socket pins, without thinking i wiped the socket lightly to remove the paste..... I just wrecked a £120 motherboard,, what I thought was solid was over a 1000 tiny hooks and i bent and pulled quite a few out when they got caught in the cloth i was using,,,,,ouch,,,

I agree... one of those oh: moments... I feel deeply ashamed that I helped send one of these to the afterlife... I'm happy I'm not the only one having done something stupid like this... :computertrash:
