Hello Peeps,

This is just testing the water, but after buying an Amiga recently and (understandably, it IS 30 years old after all) finding that it didn't last too long (the IDE pins sheered off when I attempted to plug in and use a CF card adapter, and even funnier, even a Blizzard 1230 Mk IV caused some stability problems, I am finding that I am becoming more and more concerned that my return to the Amiga was a bad choice this late to the party.

So, does anyone here have a spare recapped and working Amiga 1200 motherboard that I can purchase from you? UK based ideally, as being sent from abroad may be more expensive.

PM me with board type and confirm that all parts are in working order, and provide a price that I can take it off your hands for, and I will happily pay shipping and paypal costs with packaging to get it in my hot hands. ;)

Thank you for looking, and hope some business can be made soon.

PM replied, just asking for pics of the board working and IDE/Floppy pin sections of the board - very interested in purchasing board if pics look okay.

Why don't you just get yours recapped?

Bryce.

That would be ace tborro, how much would you charge to do the job? would you do a general timing analysis too if i wanted that as well as the capacitors and ide fix?
I was looking earlier, and it would appear that this board has had no timing changes done at all, this makes me think that this machine has been in storage and not used (at least not with an accelerator anyway)
which may also be why my ACA 1231 didn't work at all (black screen)
I was told by Amigakit that not all boards are the same, even when it comes to the same revision boards...
Can you PM me with a quote for the work, do you need me to provide the caps along with the ide header?
Thanks
Man1ac
