Hi,

I have for sale an Amiga 1200 Rev 2B motherboard fitted in an Infinity tower.

Amiga boots to the disk prompt but no other testing has been done - I got the board from here about 8 years ago, from what I remember the seller had replaced the caps but don't quote me on that.

PCMCIA right angled adapter is fitted, as is the keyboard adapter, IDE CD ROM fitted but never connected, DF0 drive fitted.

The case is in really nice condition with very little yellowing but it could use a bit of a clean.

All the plastic clips are in place from what I can tell and it holds together very well - good 'click' when the panels go in.

These are plastic cases and can be very brittle given its age, I will pack this very well but collection is always welcome from Derby.

Asking £450 + postage (Paypay only F&F or you pay the fees)

Decided to split them up:

A1200 Motherboard (Rev 2B PAL) - £250 £225 (CF card/PSU/Mouse etc not included) Sold to Jumper121
Infinity Tower Case (inc CD Rom. Floppy Drive, PSU, PCMCIA Adapter & Keyboard Interface) - £200 Sold to ctrlbreak

Thanks for looking,

Greetings, I don't have experience with putting an A1200 into a tower case. You mention "PCMCIA right angled adapter is fitted, as is the keyboard adapter". Are these fitted to the motherboard? Or were these parts fitted to, or sold with, the tower?

The PCMCIA right angled adapter is so you can install cards (network for instance) inside the case.

The keyboard adapter is built into the case, simply plugs into the existing A1200 keyboard ribbon cable socket.

The PCMCIA adapters are pretty common I think, I'm sure you could find them via google:

Package arrived, not had a chance to open it yet but merlin1968 sent plenty of photos of the packaging which were very reassuring!

Infinity case is great, thanks. - in the process of installing one of my A1200s in it, need to decide if it should be the pistorm or the '060 variant along with mediator busboard and PCI cards! :)

Parcel arrived a few days ago. Just opened it today. Very well packed. Thank you!
I'm still collecting all the parts I need to assemble an A1200, so I haven't tested it myself yet, but I do not have any concerns.

Leaving positive feedback.
