For Sale Amiga 1200 Tower Backplates (Laser cut)

GZ-F Plus series from Gigabyte might work, they're 18(W) x 420(H). Although I think that's too short to fit the A1200 motherboard and accelerator. Plus the backing plate would over hang both ends, I give up.

BitFenix Outlaw is one of the ones you linked above, found a local store as BitFenix is sold down here. Bought it, will see what happens when it turns up. Last one in stock too :-) Thanks for the link. No window, which will take some getting use to :-/

*** Edit: seen some rivnut on eBay at decent price but buying the riveting tool just for one backplate is the killer...

I suppose my backplate is arrived too but I can't join France where it arrived since I moved back to Australia yesterday... so positive feedback will wait few days! ?

I haven't tried it but it may be possible to use a 6/32 screw(bolt), washer and a nut to crimp the rivnuts in place, depends how hard the rivnut material is. Insert the screw through the back of the rivnut (inside the computer case) add the washer and nut to the outside, use a tool to hold the screw and rotate the nut so that it squashes the rivnut in place. Would probably need a high tensile nut and screw/bolt, pennies on ebay.
 
Don't need rivnuts, just use screws and nuts, works great. Also means you can transfer the panel to another case easily. :)

The rivnuts are a way to hold the side and top panels in place, as opposed to fixing the rear panel to the chassis. :thumbsup:

The top panel I have bolted to the back panel. The removable side panels I have 4 slighty larger screws holding them in place, so I can remove them easily.

crap i missed this one, would it be possible to get the drawings?, stl, dwg ?
Unless you someway miracolously have another backplate i would of course be interested in a unpainted one.
