Hello to all members of the Amiga Community :)

I have an Rev 6 A2000 with dead PSU.
I see somewhere you can put an Corsair PSU instead that is better and more powerfull than the stock one...
Is this an easy to complete mod or it is a bit more complicated ?

I just put an ATX power supply inside the original chassis of an A4000 PSU and used an adapter (ATX to A4000 motherboard). Seeing that the A2000 PSU is larger, you should be able to do the same..

if You want , buy used original an Amiga 2000 PSU and replace all capacitors , original old PSU is really very high quality stuff , big Nippon Chemicon Capacitors and big transformer , new atx is **** if compared with an Amiga 2000 psu

@Terry
As Turranius said.
Don't forget after modding the PSU to switch to vsync instead of powerline_tick (there's a jumper on the motherboard for that), as the converted PSU will naturally lack the tick signal.

Thank you guys:thumbsup:
I will take my dead PSU for an inspection and if it is beyond repair I will get an ATX one to put it inside the old case...
