Hi Tajmaster, we are still considering a number of options pending the amount of visitors. However, the site is up: amiga30.eu. Some information is missing but will be added when green lights are rolling in.

As EFTPOTRM points out already:
What better day to reveal our next guest than on his birthday; it's RJ Mical!
Worked on Intuition, he is a very charismatic speaker and we are delighted to welcome him to the event!

We have updated the guest list. We have set a location and tickets will go on sale this weekend. Hope to see you all there! Check out the website: amiga30.eu.

are any of the amiably gang going?

The event has well over 100 people confirming on Facebook they will go and from what I can read close to 100 on A1K.org (Germany), Amiga.org, AmigaScene (Netherlands) and other fora.. with 256 as the total number of >> tickets << being sold.. I'd make sure that question is answered by coming weekend

oooooh, I've only just come accross this thread, I'd be interested in going, I guess the details are on the website? I'll have a look later

It won’t stop. :soapbox: We’ve added Team Hoi and a few question marks for aesthetic reasons. And… we’re growing a FAQ before all hell breaks loose this weekend. :ninja:

Ticket sales started just now - bought one with table space (only 13 left now). I'll be probably setting up a mini recap/rework station for quick solder jobs, bring your sick Amiga parts.

You'll be able to chat with tbtorro in person. Oh and afterwards also with some other minor celebrities ;) like: Dave Haynie, RJ Mical, Jon Hare, the list goes on..

Bought 2 early bird tickets :)

Is there a place most people are staying?

Haven't booked anywhere yet, just been getting a ballpark figure for flight + hotel from Leeds.
There seems to be some reasonably priced ones near the airport.

Might wait to see if the organisers have arranged something with a local hotel.

Yeah I just realised there isn't a location yet lol so it's a bit early to book. I have a Hotels.com free night that I can use for one of the nights, I'll probably get the Eurostar as we're in Kent.
