Got this A3000 Desktop earlier in the year in a bundle and I have a nice one so this is going back to someone else.

A3000 V3.1
2MB RAM on a SIMM adapter
2Mb CHIP & 16MB FAST on SIMM Adapter (found adapter was not pushed in correctly and needed a bit of a clean. Working fine now).
5.5gb SCSI Hard Drive
Keyboard working 100%.
Single HD Floppy

It does not have the original screws in the case - someone has replaced them with HEX screws
Floppy reads DD disks fine but I haven't had any success formatting DD or HD disks - may just need a service - the springs on the tray seem pretty weak..
I know very little history on this A3000 so I would suggest you think about having it re-capped.
Battery was removed, there is a bit of damage on the old battery posts but nothing much else by the looks of it - There is no coin cell fitted.
Case is in good condition, no rust - No card covers on the back cage - I'll try and find some blanks.
Dummy floppy cover is missing but they are easily 3d printed.

Its been running for a good day here so I don't anticipate any issues.

Amber and RGB work fine, sound is great.

Needs a re-install really as someone has installed some really garishly coloured icons.

I'm after £1,200 £1,000 Paypal F&F + Postage (or buyer pays the fees).

Due to the cost of postage I would suggest UK only or it can be collected from Derby (DE21)

UK only please due to postage costs (or collection).

Thanks for looking.

Sorry my friend is not interested :(

Not a problem. To tell the truth, I was looking at postage and I think it would have been a killer on this sale.

Something isnt right with the RAM. The memory on the SIMM adapter isnt showing up at all. The 2 megabyte that you think is the SIMM, is actually the chipmem, the chips socketed on the other side of the motherboard.

This machine isn't showing any fastmem, but it should be.

Yep, you're right.
Had a push down on the adapter and a clean on the SIMM edge connector and is now showing as expected.

I'll update the description. Thanks matt020, appreciate your help.

Amiga 3000 received just this morning! Amazing packaging, this is really a great machine and it was in great condition!
Thanks again, I will be making some time to play with it asap!
