Sold Amiga 3000 Drive Bay Frame Split

All who have declared interest, are added to my list.
Protoype being made hopefulyl by the end of the week - then I`ll test. If all fits together well, I`ll get quotes for 30 kits or so (14 declared currently) - and then let people know the costs.

The new design consists of the two main panels as before (with changes) and a choice of 0,1 or 2 floppy drive/fan mounts. as well as a 3D printed fan mount.

I`ll be offering the following:
The 2 panels as a standard kit.
and then optional extras :
Floppy drive mount (doubles as a 40/80mm cooling fan mount too) - up to 2 can be used per Amiga 3000.
3D print to mount 2 x 30mm fans in line with the daughterboard.

Are there new images for the options? Unfortunately, I can't imagine it at the moment.
Can you use the floppy drives + fans in combination?

Here`s a pic of the V2 Idea.
Grey panels will be the standard 2 panel kit
Green are the floopy drive mounts - that you can fit one of the following to: Floppy drive OR 80mm fan OR 40mm fan
Blue part is the 3D printed part to add in 2 x 30mm fans.

Second pic shows the floppy mounts removed - leaving a large hole for any other coolers chosen for a CPU card.

Hi All,
Project is still live!
I`m still waiting to get the prototype made before production!
Sorry about this!

The kit is made form 1.2mm thick Pre-Galvanized mild steel.
I get the prototypes made at my work place, when I have a job running on the laser cutter of the same material. Unfortunately, although this material is a very common use (hence I use it), we have not had a request for jobs that use it recently.
With that in mind, I`m hoping a job will turn up imminently.

I`ll keep you all posted.

Finally! My place of work has had an order for a job that uses the same material as the split drive bays.
The job is due out on the 12th June, so all being well, the prototype should be laser cut at least by the end of the week - if not very early next week.
