Simply an awesome idea!

I do have a suggestion for your 2.0 version. Put a removable piece above the cpu slot, so you can put a heatsink and fan on a warp engine or similar accelerator card. I had cut a box in mine to allow better cooling with cpus. One other slightly crazy idea is to have a little fan mount so you can screw a fan in at the front. Chris Edwards had a video about that on his YT.
