Hi All.

I had a slight booboo the other week. I connected the FDD power cable up, but misaligned (by 1 pin). At the time, I was also resting the PSU on top of the side of the case around the keyboard connector. I switched on the PSU and nothing. After checking and realising the FDD power cable was misaligned, and putting that right, I then attempted to power on again, and the PSU made a noise and the dreaded 'something has blown up' smell could be detected. I power down.

Looking on this forum I found @arymanx as selling a PSU replacement. I purchased it and build over the last few days. The PSU is working fine, but I wanted to check the 3000 for shorts. The resistance on the 5v rail was down to 7ohms. I had the expansion cards still inserted in the riser, so removed those, and the resistance went up to 24 Ohms. I am unsure what the resistance is on a known good 3000, as I don't want to insert the PSU and blow that one up, as there could now be a fault on the 3000 MoBo.

Can anyone share what their resistance values are for the various rails.

Here are mine to GND:
5v VID 125 Ohms
5v 24 Ohms
+12v ~3 Meg Ohms
-12v ~1 Meg Ohm
TICK 1.2 Meg Ohms
5v User 5.2 Meg Ohms
-5v Really High

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Additional information (if useful). Adding the riser back into the main board reduces the resistance back to 7 ohms again.
