I built this machine a while ago from various parts I acquired over time, unfortunately I now need to let her go:

The Great
This is probably pretty close to an ultimate Amiga 4000 configuration:

A4000D motherboard with 2MB CHIP 16MB new FAST RAM

Warp Engine 4040

  • 68060 rev6 (in adapter board) running at 80MHz
  • 68040 full version running at 40MHz
  • Installed Maximum 128MB RAM (4 sticks, 2 sets of matching pairs)
  • FAST SCSI 2 controller with cable (up to 10MB/s)
  • SCS2SD v6 installed

Mediator 4000D (5V) with full complement of boards:

  • 800MHz 512MB G3 PPC “RAGNAROK”
  • Voodoo3 3000 16MB
  • RTL8139 Fast Ethernet
  • Soundblaster 16
  • Spider USB (not installed)
  • PCI Radeon 256MB, 2x128 option (not installed)
Other
  • ATA CDROM drive on Buddha IDE controller
  • RapidRoad USB CP (to install on Buddha clockport)
  • SFX PSU with Amigoun beefy adapter
  • Tank Mouse with DB9 adapter
  • Black floppy
  • Keyboard
  • VGA2HDMI USB powered widget (works on RTG and Native video)
  • Lots of fans to keep it cool
  • Breakout below PSU is to install USB ports

The Bad
This system was recapped, had an audio circuit repair and a Lithium Clock Battery installed. There is no significant damage to the board but the clock circuit does not work and the distorted audio issue has returned since the repair...I suspect additional board clean not done.

The Ugly
Over time, cosmetic issues have developed - she could use some TLC. The painted front has seen better days and the vinyl wrap was unfortunately a little damaged due to being mounted in a rack.

General
The included keyboard is not US/UK/German nut I think maybe Suomi, you could replace the keycaps or trade for another or buy without (and put money towards one of those lovely black CDTV keyboards on eBAY!)

Note: The pictures show a 3.5” 3D print SCSI2SD / Gotek mount that I had planned to populate….

I have an original 4000D box to ship this in if I can find it in time.

AmigaTestKit shots shown for workings, monitor is not included,

The price for this bundle is $4200 $4000 $3400+shipping or $4000 $3800 $3200+shipping without keyboard I may be willing to split if there is sufficient interest in the pieces separately (e.g Warp Engine, Mediator Bundle, A4000D)

Edit: Movies showing sound distortion on Amiga audio. Also showing Q3 and AmigaAMP playing via PPC mega.library/Soundblaster

Edit: Q3 movie is too large to upload.

EDIT: Added picture of Radeon PCI and original 4000DB

EDIT: Prices for individual sale
At this point I will only consider this if I have offers on all 3 bundle pieces

Mediator Bundle - $1200+shipping SOLD PENDING PAYMENT WarpEngine/CPU/Cable/SCSI2SD - $1500 $900+shipping
A4000 plus KB/Mouse/Original daughterboard - $1200+shipping SOLD

Edit: OK, major updates:

  1. Added RapidRoad USB to bundle for increased value
  2. Changed WarpEngine CPU to 40MHz 68040 with reduced price
  3. Total price updates, now $3400 with keyboard, $3200 without
  4. Reduced price of stand alone WarpEngine to $850 (was $900)

@jkdsteve members can only declare interest in parts if those parts are priced individually

I had a config like this! After CSPPC/MK3 this is the best one! Mine also ran at 100 MHz too, it is only a good 060 or RAM question!

Declaring interest.

Declaring interest.

Declaring interest in g3 card/mediator, depends on the reply to the question.
I’m not sure how to answer your question, do you mean which code name is it or?

EDIT: I believe it is known as “Ragnarok”

Love to help, just need to understand what you’re looking for.

Got it.
Yes which code name, if it’s rangarok, then I will take it. I can send money tomorrow as I’m traveling Today.
ill DM you the details and also photos of lot when I have it ready for packaging.

Steve

Hey Steve, curious, if it's the Ragnarok are you saying you _don't_ want it, and if so, why? Do you have a negative experience with that card?
No negative experience, I believe it’s the best spec of the PrmPMC8150 that exists….can be overclocked and has most memory, so indeed it’s the one the buyer wanted.

Only the WarpEngine 040/40 is left, adding picture for clarity.

Price is $850+shipping
