I built (10, now) 5 soft switch drive selector devices that I have for sale.
This works with either 3 resets, [CTRL]-[LAmiga]-[RAmiga], or by holding down the reset sequence for 5 to 6 seconds which causes the external floppy disk drive (DF1:) to be seen as DF0:, the boot drive.

When the DF1: drive then becomes the DF0:, the internal drive disappears. The drives are switched back to normal, by either powering off the computer, or by doing the same reset sequence (3 times or holding 5 – 6 seconds).

To install, just pull the even CIA chip (8520) from its socket nearest the A500’s floppy drive, plug it in the device (matching up all the orientation markers (half-moon notches) on chip to socket to motherboard, and place it back into the CIA socket. While I no longer have an A2000 for testing, they should fit to the best of my recollection.

Asking $20 USD + discounted shipping (1.3 Oz & 7 x 5 x 1 “) and PP fees (3.9%) or as F/F
*UK/European buyers should consider buying from AmigaKit or similar.
