As already told via PM just get a better CF IDE Adapter. It is known that some have issues or test it with a regular harddrive. This LED Adapter can't do magic if no proper signal is provided.

update: happy summer holidays to all, I'll update you on how the led hdd adapter works, I managed to borrow the version for pitstorm from a friend of mine and I found that this works with my accelerator card, so what I need is the model for the pirstorm, could you kindly find a way to exchange it for the one I have now? maybe by sending it back, I wish you again happy holidays and good Amiga to all!!

Sure it can but there exists also a version for Amiga 1200 which would make it a lot easier.
