Hi guys, long time no see!

The time has come, with great reluctance, to pass on my beloved Amiga 600. I love it, but it just isn't getting the use it deserves, so I'd like it to go to someone that will fully appreciate it. I'm not particularly techy so I may not know all the specific details but will answer any questions as best I can.

Amiga 600 WHD Load ready - fully working
A601 RAM Board (from AmigaKit)
2mb PCMCIA Melcard
LiNKFOR SCART to HDMI transformer
Mouse and two joysticks
Workbench disks
4gb CF card

I bought the machine about 7 or 8 years ago so I can't vouch for the authenticity of the contents of the hard drive, or the Workbench disks so these can be removed if suggested.

I'm based in Edinburgh, so collection would be free from there. Obviously I will organise a courier for delivery anywhere in the UK, with cost agreed with purchaser.

I have attached pictures, including proof of ownership, but if there's anything else you'd like to see just let me know.

£400 not including delivery.

Is this available to ship to the USA and is it recapped if so?
I can't say for certain if it has been recapped, if it was, it was done before I got my hands on it. If there are telltale signs to look for, I can certainly look.

I would have to look into shipping to the US along with shipping insurance to cover us both. I've never shipped internationally and don't want it getting stuck in import duties and taxes limbo!

For shipping. Recommend using parcel2go and then choosing Royalmail. Parcel2go makes it easy to do the customs bit by then having Royalmail collect and bring the Customs label ready to stick on the parcel 😉

I've used parcel2go a lot of times in the past but you can actually do that directly on the Royal Mail website too. It allows you to search for the tarriff code and you can choose collection from your door with them bringing the shipping label and customs paperwork too. Probably easier dealing with them directly rather than through parcel2go if something should go wrong.

Also, wanted to add, Interparcel.com is another broker for several well known couriers. I have used them many times in the past and they are good with the paperwork when sending overseas and customer services are good if anything goes wrong.

There prices used to be extremely competitive but, like mostly everything nowadays, the prices have risen and I have found it's sometimes cheaper to go directly with the courier and cut out the middle man.
