PRICE DROP - SOLD TO KaiN
Making the final leap and parting with our childhood computer.
It has been stripped back to its base unit 030 (all expansion cards and accelerator were recently removed). It is housed in a Micronik Big Tower case. No peripherals included.
Included are:
Original PAL Amiga 4000 motherboard with EC030 cpu (25MHz) - chipset photo below
Micronik tower daughterboard and case (inc. optional 'feet' and manual and assembly instructions)
2Mb Chip RAM
Internal HD floppy drive
Internal Maxtor HDD
Internal CD-ROM
Internal Zip 100 drive
Additional Removable HDD caddy
Case dimensions (without feet): H62xW19xD43cm
Case is in quite good condition, some minor dirt/corrosion inside, a few mismatched blanking plates and screws and some notable sun damage to the front door. Other than that, the door latch mechanism is in good order and the display and buttons all work (Turbo button toggles between 025 and 040; handy when it had an 040 accelerator in!

Motherboard appears in good condition as does the daughterboard. It has recently been tested and Zorro boards were working fine. Floppy, CD-ROM and Zip drive both working (though software for the Zip drive now refuses to work without Fast memory...). Onboard ports tested as best I'm able and mouse and joystick, keyboard, video , floppy and audio have all worked. Serial port provides power but I cannot test it or parallel further as i have no devices.
Looking for£1250 £900 or any near offer. I will cover UK or European (and thereabouts) standard shipping. Happy to ship internationally but will require buyer to cover that (as it is likely to be pretty pricey, it weighs about 15kg and isn't exactly petite). i have original tower shipping box and polystyrene so hopefully that shouldn't be too risky.
