This case looks very nice but I have to ask the question.... what are people doing about the front plastic panel? is there somewhere selling these or 3D printing them? Without one it's going to look a bit ugly?!

Long term I am looking at reproducing the front cover, in the short term there are lots of places you can get a 3d model of the front printed, i am even look at doing this myself as I need to do some prototyping before injection moulding for my own cad drawings. There are also Aluminium front panels available so lots of options at the moment.

Can I buy only this item?

You would have a problem fitting this to an original case. The cage is the same dimensions and mounting but the top screw hole where the bar fits is around 2mm across to the side as I moved the mainboard a couple of mm to help people with new build mainboards to get them in cases as depending on that type of DB9 sockets they had used for mouse/joystick they could not get their mainboard in an original case with the port strain relief plate fitted. You can overcome this buy changing the top bar as I made mine with elongated holes so it can have some adjustment.
