Hi Mark,

Happy to start up a new batch and put a time limit on it so you’re not sitting around indefinitely. To be fair they seem to start filling up once a few people have taken the plunge!

OK, I will be making changes to how the pre-order is going to work as the whole idea of it is to secure numbers and that hasn't really worked as a lot of people have dropped out or not responded when it has come to the stage of taking deposits when enough people have joined to start the run.

It has also been apparent that the price has needed to go up on these for some time, in fact I would go as far as to say I probably priced it too low to start with but I have stuck to the initial pricing for the runs so far, there are a lot of hours put into making these, it needs to go up but here is what I am going to do.

I will start a pre-order with an up front deposit of £150, the deal is you get the case at the same original price of £350 + cost of extras etc. I will give an end date for the pre-order rather than waiting for X number of people and will start making the run of cases regardless of how many people have joined the pre-order so there in no indefinite waiting. So what's in it for you? Only people on the pre-order will get the case at £350, once the pre-order is closed any extra cases made (I normally make a batch of 20 or 25 cases) left over will be sold at £400. If you back the build then you get the discount, the deposits are not refundable BUT if for whatever reason I did not deliver you would obviously be refunded.

I will be amending the main page of the thread to show this, if anyone who has declared interest no longer wants to jump on board I totally understand.

Hello, I have two A4000's that need only the top covers. Would you happen to have any available? Or be willing to manufacture/sell top covers?

So this is a test of the latest feature request. This makes a change so the drive tray is fastened from the inside of the case. The main advantage of this is that you don’t need to remove your front cover to take the drives out. Just remove the two screws which are now on the inside, pull back the tray to release it from the clip in the bottom of the case and then lift out.

Following photo’s are just from a test.

If you want this feature let me know!
Whether the new batch will have a modification of drive tray (inside screws)?
