Really hope you get it. Also hope the admins think twice about allowing cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange. The potential for abuse is crazy high.

Unfortunately, paying Paypal family/friends is also risky.
Well at least with Paypal F&F, besides the other person's email, you're guaranteed that Paypal has the person's real information and you could pursue this further, file a police report for theft or maybe lawsuit / small claims case is possible depending on where folks live. For high amounts or seemingly too-good-to-be-true situations, one can also choose to pay the Paypal fees for purchase protection to kick in.

With crypto all you get is an anonymous "address" and whatever information that person provided to this forum.

It is not our responsibility to enforce any type of payment.

That is between the seller and buyer.

As has been said in many threads and posts all payments should use a protected method of payment.

When something seems to good to be true it usually is and the new seller with such sought after items only accepting crypto was a huge red flag.

Amibay do not restrict what methods of payment members use in their transactions but have always made a very clear and strong recommendation that a protected payment method is used.

I hope that you guys do end up with some resolution if you don't get your items.

Agreed. I was considering buying an AT bridgboard from this seller because I saw one of this listing noted that he'd accept Paypal F&F, but this was no longer an option, so I had no means to pay and couldn't complete. I guess everyone has different threshold for risk and as @davideo notes, it's between seller and buyer. No market place will be 100% perfect, but the team here at AmiBaY does a good job. Otherwise, apply that old filter about offers being too good to be true and listen to the gut.
