No problem :)
Maybe you can help me with another issue. I have external gotek mounted in a case after external fdd. DF0/DF1 switcher. Stock FDD in amiga. I have set GOTEK to DF0 and internal should be DF1... now in this config gotek works perfect - but I cant see DF1 (internal drive) in INFO command or in Workbench... In amigatestkit there is no DF1... but when I force to tes DF1 in amigatestkit it sees DF1 and passes all tests... When I change again DF0 to internal both are visible in the system. What could be the issue? Maybe jumpers on the internal drive?

Check the jumpers on both goteks, in particular S0.

I believe the norm is that the internal gotek should be S0 and the external should be set to S1

I dont have internal gotek. It is stock FDD. External one is S0 - fine. Amiga is blinded by DF0/DF1 selector so she thinks it is fine.

Put the jumper on the gotek to S1 and try again
thanks i'll try that - also found an info to set CHINON FDD to position DS1 instead of factory default DS0 - i'll try both things today :) fingers crossed!!!

I doubt changing DS1 to DS0 on the Chinon will make any difference apart from making the drive unstable/unusable on the Amiga.

ah. I don't even know that it is for. Can you elaborate?

DS1 is usually used for PC's not for Amiga.....Please leave the jumpers on the floppy drive alone

I can see that these hdds are quite expensive now on ebay.
There are several SD to SCSI solutions now that let you use an SD card to take the place of a SCSI drive. I'd highly recommend one of those instead of hunting down an old SCSI drive.
