This cd32 hasn´t been getting much love since I have my A1200 setup so I thought I should see if someone else would have more use for this.

cd32 Bundle with loose Console that has power supply and 2 competition pro controllers included. sx1 expansion with rgb scart cable will be also included. There is also an fmv module. The sx-1 has 4 megabytes of memory installed. there is no hard drive installed currently but theoretically you can install workbench on a compact flash hard drive with adapter, not provided.

edit: correction! I found an adapter and cf card for this and you can have it too but as far as I´m concerned, they do nothing.

Last time when I tried to install classicwb on this I couldnt get it to work. I thought it might be the ram, replaced the ram with another chip. I suppose I just could not configure it.
Now, a lot later I dont even have working workbench floppies to try. This setup deserves to go to someone who knows what the **** they´re doing cause I sure don´t.
please note. 1 of the 4 screws holding the sx1 lid is not there. shouldn´t be a problem but it wont look as good with only 3 screws I guess.

Most of the games seem to work at least for the first level. I cant play them all through to completely test them., However some have scratches and some wont load.
That said, there should be many/enough working games in the bundle to give this thing a good run.
If any game should not work, I suggest you burn yourself a backup from some rom from internet as having the original game, even if scratchy still gives you the license to play it.
Consider the games a bonus

This is the important part:

I can´t set this up. I have tried to install workbench to a cf card. If I boot from workbench floppy using workbench 3.1 install disk, then I can see cf hard drive there and I can browse the hard drive and install the workbench to the hard drive but then when I reboot, then it just doesn´t boot from the hard drive. I don´t know why. Basically, when I try to boot from hard drive, the regular startup video with cd picture comes up.

So, there is a chance that the cf card and stuff works but I just can´t set it up. Also, googling for solution to this problem suggest that the problem may be either the startup-sequence being wrong or the power supply being too weak.

It´s basically a big headache for a beginner but it may be useful for someone who knows what they´re doing.

That said, it does have rgb scart out, it will play cd32 games, it does have external floppy drive, which works and it does play video cds.

It definitely runs games from floppy disks too! So if if that is something you want to do, hooray. I can even include a floppy game for you to try! Even the floppy games seem to work nicely with the cd32 gamepads.


Finally, I´ll include a 6 cd set of Star Wars in video cd format (2 cd per movie) so you can try out the fmv module!

You really need an old crt tv to enjoy this. On any modern tv it would look very... compressed Looks ok on crt though!

status update about games

Pinball fantasies, lots of scratches but seems to work
Simon the Sorcerer works, lighter scratches
Liberation works, light scratches
Cannon fodder first failed to load.Then loaded up after cleaning it with microfiber cloth. Veryscratched.
Superfrog works, light scratches
Guardian works, light scratches
Microcosm seems to work but it has oneparticularly long but not very deep scratch that worries me. It mightstop working mid game.
Sensible soccer: medium scratches,spine damage on jewel case, but works for me every time
project x & body blows lightscratches but works
beneath a steel sky scratces all overthe place, loads up but I wouldnt bet on this one working reliably.
Super skidmarks: light scratches, works but intro video looked weirly bugged on my tv. After the intro thegame played fine.
Rise of the robots: also scratched, seems to work.

all in all, games are far from mint condition but they all seem to at least boot up and I can start playing them all. Can´t test them any further than that due to time constraints. Games are sold as is and the price reflects their condition in my mind. Therefore I would not accept returns on the games.

Also when testing the games, I found one of my pads is not in as good condition as the other. I already sold one so I will send out the better one to the buyer. Other pad will be sold with discount.
