Hi, can you boot from this?

Cheers.

Hi,
an external drive can boot on amiga500 if you have installed a boot selector. On Amiga 600 and up it's possible to boot from external drive by keeping pressed the mouse button at the boot and selecting the external drive as boot drive.

So if you have an amiga500 with boot selector or an amiga 600 and up this adapter allow you to boot from the secondary drive DF1.

Don’t suppose there’s an internal version of this to make use of one or two Amiga or PC floppies in an A2000/A2500/A3000/A4000...?

Hi,
I'm designing a version that fit in an external case of a floppy drive. So if you have an external amiga floppy drive with the interface not working you can replace it fitting this new version of the adapter and re-using the old DB23 cable and the old DB23 female connector (the last one just if you want to have the possibility to connect other external drives).

For the "internal version" how it should be done ? Imagine .... it should be connected directly on the flat cable connector on the motherboard and exit with a flat cable that allow to install up to two amiga or/and PC drives ?
Let me know.

Hi,
Do you have photo of interface? How large is it? Is it available to ship to the US?
Which drives have been tested and can I use a Gotek for df0: at the same time?
Thanks. I have a Samsung, Teac, Mitsumi and Toshiba PC drives.
I've tried 2 interfaces (one without a chip) and one that only works for Gotek.
How compatible with drives is yours?

Hello,
below the answers to your questions:

Do you have photo of interface?
Yes. The photos are in first post of this thread.

How large is it?
6cm x 3.6cm

Is it available to ship to the US?
Yes shipping to USA is 4.50€ as ordinary mail or 11.00€ as tracked one.

Which drives have been tested and can I use a Gotek for df0: at the same time?
This interface supports secondary drives PC or Amiga compatibles. The secondary drives will work as DSF1 without any problem with the DF0 installed (genuine amiga drive or gotek). Several drives have been tested as genuine PC or amiga modded: Teac, Samsung, citizen, mitsumi, alps, sony, teac and others.

Thanks. I have a Samsung, Teac, Mitsumi and Toshiba PC drives.

My interface is fully compatible with genuine PC drives AND amiga drives (genuine or PC modded). You just need to configure the interface in order to install a PC or an amiga drive. Please check the configuration instructions in the first post of this thread or on my website www.vintage-computers.it

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks for the info

Thanks for the info

I sent an email via your web page's email address with inquiry
on how to order. This looks like a real interface. The others I have just makes the drives click
and workbench says disk unreadable.
