New version External floppy drive adapter for Amiga computers.
(You can find the previous version in this thread https://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?64030-AMIGA-External-Floppy-Drive-adapter-GOTEK-compatible-!)

Connect this interface directly to the rear DB23 port for external floppy drives of your Amiga. Connect an Amiga or PC compatible floppy drive to this interface, the new floppy drive will be showed in the Workbench.

With this interface you can use PC compatible drives or Amiga compatible drives.
It supports GOTEK and other floppy drives emulators ....
You can use also HD PC drives! In this case remember to cover the HD hole on the floppy disks.

Tested on Amiga500 with PC drives, Amiga drives, Gotek and HxC emulators ....
Sold many interfaces of old and new version without any issue !!!

The configuration for a PC or Amiga drive is done by means of mini jumpers on the interface.

Add a second drive to your Amiga!

SEVERAL ITEMS AVAILABLE!

edit:

I withdraw my interest, I'm sorry.
I had understood that it was an new external floppy drive, not an adapter.

How is the disk ready signal generated for pc drives that don't have one?
And i assume it won't allow amiga 1760kb (HD) floppy simulation for a pc drive?

I build this interface for my Amiga 500 and it works fine with Amiga an PC floppy drives. Also tested with Gotek and HxC emulators ...
You could do the test for the 1760kb (HD) ... and let know us if it works also on these drives ...

And with what pc drives did you test? (Brand/model) Hopefully more than 1 ;)

Well. The disk ready signal is a quite important question as most modern pc floppy drives don't seem to have one available making it impossible to solder them into amiga compatible ones without a signal generator. And some modders confuse the disk ready signal with the disk read signal which can fry other drives in the chain. Hence my Q.

Samsung SFD-321B

Chinon FZ-357
Teac FD-235HF
GOTEK
HxC

Yes the signal disk ready is generated from the interface ...
