Sorry to hijack this thread, not sure if this is allowed (sorry admins) but just wondering what these sound like, do they sound good like a real floppy drive?

Got round to fitting the Sound Buzzer Kit to my GOTEC Floppy Emulator today. Not to hard to fit just a wee bit of soldering and I'm quite impressed with the results

Good Job! try HxC firmware......Cortex is obsolete......

I think you have the Cortex 1.05a firmware now obsolete no longer developed, HxC costs only €10 for unit,the first time after the updates are always free.

Oh right OK I didn't realise there was another firmware, the LCD says HxC on the diaplay when it starts up so I assumed I had the only Firmware, I will take a look at this new one thanks.
