amiga forever

hello , iv just bought : amiga forever v4.0 cloanto

dropped it into my pc but no idea what to do on winuae

its got workbench 3.x , 1.3 , ect and iv clicked on them ....

i just get a black window with cats eyes on saying waiting for media .

someone guide me what to do with it .

same here, i kinda wondered what the point of it was - i was expecting to be able to load workbench etc and mount drives

Exactly ! It's pretty useless unless you know what your doing on winuae I guess .

Hi, I've used AF since 2001 - starting with V4, I think.

Don't remember it being difficult to use though and had VM's of A500 & A1200's working in minutes.

I currently use V.2012 and, although a lot easier now, I always thought the package was a priceless tool...

Looked on their site at all?

yes iv looked , not sure why when i put in a game , floppy , or cd in cd32 emulation , it just comes up with the cat eyes screen , bah lol

if i click wb 3.x ect it should boot to wb screen without any media inserted right ?

Sorry, unfortunately V4 is so long ago, I've forgotten how it worked - basically they changed the interface to a 'player' many versions ago and that is still there now - so slick, I just can't praise it enough...

Definitely no media required though, as all mine were downloads.

I know it's more outlay, but have you thought of using the fact that you have a legit copy to get an upgrade for the newest version from Cloanto?

Anything but the Premium version is a "download and create your own disc" type (DVD now as it will no longer fit on CD), but it's sooooo worth the money.

Don't think you'll regret it, but certainly have a look...

Upgrade (from any version) to 2012 is 20Euro which includes TAX.
