Hi

Looking for Amigas and accessories in NZ..all Amigas considered. Specifically looking for tidy systems (need not be mint), accelerators and other useful hardware (ethernet boards, video cards etc). Would prefer known working items but may consider an untested item if the price is reflective of this.

Let me know what you have and the price you have in mind

Thanks

Re: WTB: Amiga gear (NZ)

Kinda narrows your options just sticking to NZ m8. Broaden your horizons for the smaller parts at least. There are some good items pass through this trading post. ;)

Your advert might cause some concern for the Mods on here, so now could be a good time to familiarise yourself with AmiBays Rules & Policies.

Welcome to AmiBay btw. Hope you have a great time here. :D

Re: WTB: Amiga gear (NZ)

Thanks Kin

I read the rules and guidelines before posting so I'm not entirely sure where my ad may contravene any but, if it does, I'll be only too happy to change it to bring it in-line with them. I can't really list explicitly what I'm after as I don't know what is available until someone posts and I'm trying not to limit the replies simply because I didn't explicitly state it.

I was limiting the ad to only NZ as shipping fees for full Amigas are generally too expensive to make the trip down to my neck of the woods. I am open to people answering from overseas (and generally buy most of my Amiga stuff from overseas) but thought that a general 'WTB anything from anywhere' would not be in accordance with posting guidelines.

In an attempt to narrow it down a little I'm specifically after, but not limited to, the following:

* Most Amiga models
* Big box Amiga ethernet cards, graphic cards
* Blizzard accelerators : 030/060 for A1200 desktop or 060 for A4000 (with or without PPC)
* 3.1 ROMs for most models

Still learning but thanks for your input

:)

Np m8y. You're far luckier in NZ than we are here in the UK. Anything over £5 these days has to be subjected to a serious mauling by HM Customs & Excise & a huge delay in the shipping time whilst they try to get their finger out. :roll:
The last I heard, when dealing with Anthony Hoffman, NZ had a $300 limit which is pretty impressive compared to our pathetic fart. :laugh:

Good luck in your searching though & all the best. :thumbsup:

Re: WTB: Amiga gear (NZ)

Consider NZ inhabitants lucky: here the limit for imported goods via postal system is 50 USD, shipping included! :banghead:

This limit is raised to 500USD for Latin America travelling and 1000 for the rest of the world plus 500 for "duty free shop" airport stores. Not enough to buy a Blizzard PPC via airmail, as you can see. :banghead:

@dangermouse
Soon I will have Blizzard 1260 +SCSI KIT for you with pictures as promised.

On top of that I can offer you BlizzardPPC with (AFIK) PPC@240MHz and 060@66MHz; without SCSI.
This card was upgraded from 040 to 060.
One of my friend would like to sell this card; I will ask him about the price (if you are interested) and by doing so you might save on transportation :thumbsup2:

Waiting for info from you :popcorn:

Hi Stachu100

Yep, I'm still here just waiting on those pics of the 1260 you've got. You said 2 weeks so I figured it was still out of your hands.

As to the PPC yes I'll be interested in that also...and you're right..buying both will save a decent amount of shipping. Just let me know what your friend wants for it, get some pictures, full specs (RAM??) etc etc.

I'll wait to hear from you again

Cheers

Hi, I have a tidy A2000 with a hard drive and controller inside, unfortunately the power supply was dead when I got it so I can't tell you much more about it. I would like $40 plus postage if you are interested.
