Hi Darefail, I need to replace my DF0 floppy disk drive in an Amiga 1200 Tower with a white front panel. My computer already has a Power Computing DF1 high-density floppy drive that requires a driver to operate in high-density mode.

I have a few questions, and I'd appreciate your guidance... Does what you're offering work the same way? Would I need another driver?

Do I need to buy both the floppy drive and the red board adapter? Can I buy just the floppy drive? Or is it only sold with the adapter?

Honestly, I'd be happy if it just worked like a regular DF0. I don't mind if it was only double-density.

Hi,
No, this drive does not need a driver at all but it is not working without the adapter.
As you don't need a HD drive, withdraw your interest here and I'll send you a PM to declare interest in another thread.

I might make one or two every now and then but not in a daily basis.
