Hello everyone, Wondering if someone may have any idea here.... Finally got my A3000 to a point where pretty much everything works (OS 3.2.2, BFG9060, ZZ9000, Buddha, ZuluSCSI, X-Surf 100 w/ Rapidroad)... but now I'm having a number of smaller issues.

For example, I can't pull up an icon's information anymore. Selecting an icon, then hitting AMIGA + I on my keyboard does... nothing. No window opens, no flashing screen, no error message... nothing.

Same if I click on 'Execute command'. I used to be able to click on that one, then (for example) run 'newcli' to open a command line window. Now... nothing happens.

When I try to launch IconEdit, I get a pop-up error message saying "Couldn't open datatypes.library V39". There is a 'datatypes.library' in LIBS: that is version 47.3. Why would I have to downgrade to verson 39. It used to work when I started out with 3.2.2.

I'm also unable to launch TextEdit. Instead, I get this error message: "TextEdit requires version 47 of window class". I have 47.36 installed.

I would be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks, everyone!

I tried with the ones from the 3.2.2 update, as well as with the ones from the 3.2 install disk set. I shouldn't have to go back to 3.1 or even 3.0 libs, should I?

Did you resolve the problem with the textedit "TextEdit requires version 47 of window class"
I am having the same problem?

Open up a Shell and type in at the prompt

Version sys:classes/Window.class full

Press Enter key

Now look in Libs folder for older (pre version 47) .class files and delete them if they are there. Then restart and launch TextEdit again. Hopefully the problem is sorted!
