Hey guys,

I have been enjoying Amiga demos since the late 80's, however you can only be amazed by so many raster bars and transparent polygons before they all start to blend into each other.

HOWEVER, I recently saw a demo made for a stock 68000 OCS Amiga called Hologon and was truly gob smacked at what they managed to pull off on such a base hardware level, so now I am chasing suggestions on a few really impressive OCS/ECS demos (I have AGA already covered). Another impressive demo I recently saw was Hamazing.

I am especially interested in any good OCS/ECS demos that either require, or take advantage of, faster CPU's up to 68030.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

Odyssey by Alcatraz (it's like watching a movie)!

A slow, boring awful movie with heaps of spelling mistakes in the onscreen narration. :)

Eon was good though, Batman Rises was okay, still not in the same league as Hologon in my humble opinion, and I know like any art form, demos can be very subjective. I do remember seeing some demo a few years back that had both an OCS/ECS and AGA version and had a Doctor Who type pattern effect.... anyone know what demo that is?

Also, I think there was a demo called Grind that had some 3d models with texture mapping on OCS/ECS 68030....
