Hi,
i just updated my AOS3.1 to 3.9 in my A4000.
To do this i remove AOS3.1 e re-install 3.9 from empty Hard Disk (so is not an update, but an OS re-install)
I have an Emplant plugged into A4000 perfectly working in previous 3.1 AOS version.
With AOS 3.9 i run the Emplant setup program and after installation it wrote two lines into Startup-Sequence, as default.
With AOS 3.9 i have a problem with the first line added to Startup-Sequence file:
execute >NIL: s:SetupEMPLANT
This line call a file saved into S: directory. This file contains only one line:
RsrvMemV >NIL:
This line causes a looping reboot of my A4000. As written in Emplant manual (http://amiga.resource.cx/manual/Emplant.pdf) this behavior happened because RAM is not Autoconfig
Paste here a manual paragraph (page 9):
"If yourmachine constantly reboots, then you probably have amemory that does not ‘auto-config’. You should contactUtilities Unlimited, Inc. for further assistance. "
Does AOS 3.9 manage RAM in different way???
Someone could help me please??
