Not a perfect mapping for ISO US layout - no way to input a backslash or pipe symbol. Wish there was a way to remap that unused blank key between the apostrophe and Return (code 2b ab) to backslash key instead

P.S. will test in a few days with a different keyboard when it arrives, should get better results

The firmware was written by German guy, which is mostly likely the reason. For Workbench you can remap the key with any keymap editor.

Checked with Model M US ANSI keyboard - same thing, the separate backslash key is sending the same code, which maps to the unused blank key.
